In December 2013 started the activity of Nomad Tech, an EMEF and Nomad Digital joint venture, as general manager (software development and power electronics). Nomad Tech main activity areas are: • Remote/Online Condition Monitoring, integrated with Reliability Centered Maintenance methodologies • Energy Efficiency management and Eco Driving • Power Electronics repairing and traction converter refurbishment; upgrade from GTO to IGBT technology Expert on Condition Based Maintenance Applications development, and on Remote/Online Condition Monitoring tools development. Author of the Telemaintenance – Remote online condition monitoring patent. Improvements up to 30% on the reliability and availability and up to 30% on energy savings were achieved.
